Hitman: Absolution is a stealth game being developed by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix.It is the fifth entry in the Hitman game series, and will run on IO Interactive's proprietary Glacier 2 game engine. The developers have confirmed that Absolution will be easier to play and more accessible, but will retain hardcore aspects. The game is currently slated for a November 20, 2012 release.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (commonly abbreviated to as NFS: MW) is an upcoming 2012 racing video game, developed by British games developer Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. Announced on 4 June 2012, during EA's E3 press conference, Most Wanted is the nineteenth title in the long-running Need for Speed series and will be released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita as well as iOS, beginning in North America on 30 October 2012. The game will pick up on the Most Wanted IP, as opposed to the Hot Pursuit reboot that Criterion developed previously.
God of War: Ascension is an upcoming third person action-adventure video game being developed by SCE Santa Monica Studio and to be published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game is scheduled to be released on March 12, 2013 for the PlayStation 3 video game console. The game will be the seventh installment in the God of War series and a prequel to the entire series. The game will be the first installment in the series to feature multiplayer and to be developed with Stereoscopic 3D. The game will also feature a revamped combat and weapon system, and new gameplay mechanics.
Loosely based on Greek mythology, the game will be set in Ancient Greece with the player controlling the protagonist Kratos. Kratos attempts to sever ties with the God of War Ares—who tricked Kratos into murdering his wife and child—by defeating the three Furies. God of War: Ascension will chronologically be the first chapter in the series, forming part of a saga with vengeance as a central theme.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is an upcoming first-person shooter video game, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision (Square Enix for Japan), to be released on November 13, 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows and on November 18, 2012 in USA and November 30, 2012 for Europe for Wii U.Black Ops II is the ninth game in the Call of Duty franchise of video games and a sequel to the 2010 game Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Black Ops II is the first game in the Call of Duty franchise to feature future warfare technology. It also presents branching storylines driven by player choice for the first time in the franchise's history. A corresponding game, Call of Duty: Black Ops – Declassified, will be released simultaneously on the PlayStation Vita.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is an upcoming first-person shooter video game being developed by Danger Close Games and set to be published by Electronic Arts. It is a direct sequel to 2010s series reboot Medal of Honor (2010) and the fourteenth Medal of Honor installment in the series. The title was officially announced on February 23, 2012, and it is set to be released in North America on October 23, 2012, and in the United Kingdom on October 26, 2012.
The game will run on DICE's Frostbite 2 (the same engine that Battlefield 3 uses). Both single-player and multiplayer are going to use the latest version of Frostbite 2. It only supports Windows Vista/7 and DirectX 10 and 11.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is the upcoming sequel to Sniper: Ghost Warrior. It is under development by City Interactive for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita[6], Wii U[3], and Xbox 360 and is due for release in January 2013
Assassin's Creed III is an upcoming historical action-adventure open world stealth video game being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Microsoft Windows. It will be the fifth major installment and the third numbered title in the Assassin's Creed series. The game is set for worldwide release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, beginning in North America on October 30, 2012, with a Microsoft Windows version following on November 20, 2012. With the release date of the Wii U confirmed, Assassin's Creed III will be released simultaneously with the console, beginning on November 18, 2012 in North America, and November 30, 2012 in Europe. Ubisoft has said that the game will be bigger than any of its previous installments.
